INSPIRED POSSIBILITIES!
I attended a 4 day training seminar at the Picasso School, in Naples, Florida. Owner Bill O’Malia instructed me in the application of a variety of Venetian Plaster and Wall finishes and styles. I learned the importance of trowel technique when working with different materials and how dry times effect the finish product and look. The introduction to all types of plasters available was very helpful, as well as incorporating finish waxes and Faux painting effects that add dimension and art to this beautiful craft. How do I achieve traditional wall applications such as Old World and Spanish Texture were covered along with those finishes which are original to Bill and have found success and sales in his national business. Along with hands on training and producing nearly 15 samples for my portfolio, Bill provided me with contact information on access to materials. and some marketing practice that he uses. He has offered his continued availability to me regarding questions on anything related to my success as a faux artist. With his friendly and helpful way , Bill reveals to you his professionalism and the knowledge of Venetian Plastering and Faux Finishing that he has used in some of the finest homes and venues to be found. My experience at the school inspired possibilities and added value to my faux painting business.

OUTSTANDING!
I recently attended a 5 day one on one class with Bill at his studio in Naples, FL. I had been looking forward to the experience for weeks. I had reached out to other companies as well to inquire about class availability, however Bill's communication was outstanding by far throughout the entire process! It was an easy decision to take a class with Bill. Everyday of the class was exciting and I was already looking forward to the next day. Bill's experience and knowledge in this field is immense. I recently purchased an older outdated home and I'm in the process of remodeling and wanted to use the techniques I learned in class for my own home. My only regret is that my time only allowed me to take a 5 day class!

Starting off the review 100/100 I’m giving my grade then the reason why. Bill wears his heart on my sleeve and while in his class passes his heart along to you by putting non-stop effort, critiquing, technique, and strategy in helping someone create a everlasting trade. This man went above and beyond the times of 9 AM - 4 PM. After class and before class was always available on his phone and was quick to answer a text message of any questions I had. Bill made the training feel more sincere and one on one then anyone class I’ve been apart of. If you’re looking for The best bang for buck Bill‘s class supersedes it at the price and knowledge he passes along truly is priceless. I wish Bill nothing but the best in his upcoming classes. I flew from Los Angeles to take the 5 day class with Bill and it was worth every penny, to me. It was clear from day one Bill wasn't just trying to send us home with a bunch of pretty boards to admire. While that was a result of the class and a reflection of Bill's instruction, Bill's intention was to establish a foundation of technique and application for us to then go forth and build on. He really spent time going over and over the same principles to drill them into us. Bill will redirect you, as many times as necessary, if you start to veer to off course from what he is trying to teach which can feel testing at times but I think it's important to remember you showed up to his class so take the time to listen and apply what he has to teach. Ultimately, no one can teach a lifetime of experience in five days, certainly not in three but Bill does a great job of doing exactly what he sets out to which is to create a foundation for us to then grow from. I'm very appreciative of Bill's time and the effort he put forth in sharing his knowledge.

I cannot say enough about Bill. I took a five-day class. Bill was very patient with me and taught me different finishes. And still to this day I can still call him and ask him questions about the finishes and how to go about doing certain finishes and he’s always there to answer all my questions.
